On Saturday 4 November 2017 (13:30–16:00), the Netherlands Red Cross and the Kalshoven-Gieskes Forum on IHL are hosting an International Humanitarian Law lecture on ‘War in Cities – Legal Framework, Problems & Challenges’. Preliminary programme 13:30 – General introduction 13:45 – Humanitarian perspective 14:15 – Military perspective 15:00 – Civilian perspective 15:30 – Q&A We are happy to announce our three speakers: – Ms. Joëlle Germanier, Outreach Advisor at the Law & Policy Forum of the ICRC in Geneva – Mr. Niels Roelen – Writer, storyteller and major in the Netherlands Armed Forces – Mr. Eric Feijten – Freelance cameraman, editor, producer and drone pilot, specialised in war and crisis areas.
