Guest Researcher & Junior Supervisor

Juliette Wangen is a guest researcher and junior supervisor at the Kalshoven-Gieskes Forum’s International Humanitarian Law Clinic. Before joining the Forum, Juliette pursued a double LL.B. in English Law and French Law from King’s College London and Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. She then graduated from Leiden University’s Advanced LL.M. in Public International Law, with a specialization in International Criminal Law. During her master’s degree, Juliette worked as a student research assistant with the IHL Clinic on two projects.

Juliette previously worked with the Civic Coalition for Palestinian Rights in Jerusalem and a student organization which aims to raise awareness about human rights violations in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory. Her main interests include the law of occupation, business and human rights, as well as international criminal justice.
