Mr. Louis Léonet conducted a Bachelor in Law at Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and graduated from the LL.M. in Public International Law at Leiden University, in January 2018. The IHL Clinic was one of his first experiences in Leiden, for which he and his teammates conducted a research on the applicability of IHL to cyber warfare. In 2016, he pursued a master in International Relations at Leiden University to broaden his views. He joined the Forum from February to July 2017 as a guest researcher and project supervisor and has returned as of March 2018 as student assistant. In the meantime, he pursued research on the implications of cyber operations at the legal and policy levels, notably contributing to the work of the Hague Program for Cyber Norms, and hopes to pursue a PhD on these issues.
