Mr. Luigi Prosperi got a PhD in “International legal order and human rights” from Sapienza University of Rome in July 2013. He worked as a research assistant at Luiss Guido Carli University between 2012 and 2014. A visiting fellow at European University Institute (in Florence) in 2014, he later joined the Department of Political Sciences of Sapienza University. In October 2015 he moved to the Netherlands, where he worked as a legal intern at the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICC and the ICTY. Between November and December 2016, he worked as an Associate Legal Officer at the ICTY. He published extensively in the field of international law, mostly focusing on international criminal law and the international criminal tribunals’ practice. In April 2017, he was appointed as Honorary Fellow in International Law at the Department of Political Sciences of Sapienza University of Rome.
